Melissa Gordon has been drawing since she could hold a crayon to the wall. She has won many awards for her work and was recently awarded the Governor's Selection at a local art show.

After over 10 years as a commercial designer and illustrator, she has decided to work independently as a freelance artist specializing in pen & ink, graphite and colored pencil illustration of a variety of subjects. Her work is currently featured on greeting cards, rubber stamps and embroidery designs as well.

In addition to her work as an artist, she is also an active member of the community and does volunteer work for many area Arts organizations.
